Planning your trip to Denver
This website, specially designed for Convention attendees, can help you plan outside Convention activities and get a sense of Denver.

• Getting around Denver- Explore Denver's light rail! We will update you here about shuttles during the Convention, but you may want to familiarize yourself with the light rail system, we are staying at the Belleview stop!

Although all hotel room reservations come through the DPO, you may be interested to see the hotel's accommodations.

While you may spend the majority of your time exploring the neighborhoods around downtown Denver, there are some good restaurants and other amenities near the hotel that you can browse here.

National Stonewall Democrats Convention

If you are a delegate to the Democratic National Convention: The Stonewall Democrats National Convention will feature trainings that will help you maximize your experience in Denver. This includes central tracks specifically provided for national convention delegates and Democratic staff. This includes a "Delegate Boot Camp" which will include preparatory convention trainings in media, networking, leadership and party politics.

Our focus prepares delegates to maximize their convention experience and develop the skills needed to use their delegate experience to grow their own leadership within their state and local Democratic parties. In 2004, we successfully trained delegates to use their convention experience as a springboard to win election to city councils, state legislatures and leadership positions within their state Democratic parties.
