Field Organizer Mary Van Noy
Mary Van Noy works in the DPO's Eugene office. Her job is to recruit, organize and train activists in 14 Oregon counties, and help coordinate those counties' get out the vote efforts.
Mary has direct organizing reponsibility for: Baker, Coos, Crook, Curry, Douglas, Grant, Harney, Jackson, Josephine, Klamath, Lake, Lane, Malheur, and Wheeler counties.
Mary is an Oregon native, and grew up in Newport. She speaks fluent Spanish, and graduated from University of Oregon with a degree in political science. She is a longtime Democratic Party of Lane County volunteer. She volunteers with the Lane County BUS, LEAD (a youth mentorship program) and Young Apollo (Apollo Project for youth).
Mary's position is funded through the Democratic National Committee as part of DNC Chairman Howard Dean's 50 State Partnership Project. Mary will help the DPO execute its 36-county strategy to fight for votes in every Oregon county.
