--> Join the Democratic Party of Oregon April 11-13th in Eugene, Oregon for a weekend of grassroots political activism. The Platform Convention helps us define our Democratic values and energize each other. Congressman Neil Abercrombie (D-HI) will speak on behalf of the Obama campaign on Friday, April 11 at 7:30pm. Chelsea Clinton will speak at the Platform Convention on Saturday, April 12 at 1:15pm. Changes in their schedules may result in adjustments to our schedule with little notice. This page will always have the most current schedule information available, so please check here for the latest information. Come help shape the direction of the Democratic Party of Oregon while also attending trainings on grassroots organizing and media strategizing with other like-minded liberal folks. The 2008 Platform Convention is going to be a historic event with back to back campaign visits by the candidates or high level surrogates. Don't miss it!
