The Democratic Party of Oregon is pleased to announce its fifth biennial Oregon Summit, October 16-18, 2009. The conference will once again be held at the Sunriver Resort in central Oregon and is expected to entertain a sell-out crowd of over 400 dedicated and loyal progressives, and elected officials.

The Oregon Summit is a special Party event that offers a weekend of high caliber political work shops, strategizing, fun, and of course significant networking opportunities. The event has sold out every year with participants from all across the state in attendance. This year the weekend will feature workshops and presentations from top local and national political strategists, numerous elected officials and community leaders.

What is the Oregon Summit?

The Oregon Summit was started in 2001 as a unique opportunity for Oregon Democrats to gather in the off-election year, share experiences and prepare for the upcoming election year.

Held in beautiful Central Oregon, the Oregon Summit brings active Democrats from all over the state together to share what it means to be an Oregon Democrat, learn new skills and improve old ones and enjoy camaraderie with other Democrats who have the same vision.
