Jeff Merkley, a Democrat running for US Senate against Republican Gordon Smith has built the most progressive campaign in Oregon history.
Jeff is currently the Speaker of the Oregon House of Representatives and under his leadership in 2007, the Oregon Legislature had the most productive session in decades.
Jeff Merkley fought the drug companies to lower the cost of prescription drugs, banned high interest payday loans, and invested millions in renewable energy.
